4-H Qualifying Horse Show
Orange County Park
July 14 & 15, 2007

Another year has past and we are back at Orange County Park for the July 4-H Horse Show.

Thank you Ellen, Karen and Miguel for all the work you have put into this which  allowed all of our kids to perform at their best.

Thank you Bill for organizing the huge tent for our tack, for putting it up and taking it down. It was just fantastic.

Thanks to all of the parents who support our 4-H kids and special thanks to Bill, John and Steve for all their physical help during the two days.

I would like to take this opportunity to again thank all of our 4-H riders for their understanding when we did not allow them to participate in the ride-offs, command and costume classes due to the immanent danger of lightning and thunder. All of you girls and boys were great, but especially my thanks to Kaitlyn and Jeff, Kiersten and Deedle and Tiffany and Julie who forfeited their ride-offs and ended up without any ribbons or trophies.

In our eyes you are all Champions
(....and I can make this happen)

Congratulations to all of you for your achievements,
 which again, like last year,
 has earned us the

Club Trophy

for Hilltop's 4-H riders who won the most points in this show.

Congratulation to

Julia McGuire

for winning the

Champion Ribbon and Trophy
for the Walk Trot Division.

Congratulation to

Sean Ward

for winning

Best In Showmanship
(a title very rarely given to a Walk/Jog Division competitor)

And last but definitely not least,
our special congratulations to

Kaitlyn Heidelberg

for winning the personal (and huge) Trophy for
being the rider with the most points won in this show.

Katie you very well deserve this Trophy. You worked hard all year and are one of our most dedicated riders.

.. and yes Maximilian

Happy 10th Birthday!

Thank you for being such a good sport and spending your Birthday at the 4-H Show
