New York State Fair
2006

As you have seen, five of our riders qualified for the 4-H 2006 New York State Fair. Unfortunately only three riders were able to make it:

TIffany N. Graetz
representing our English Riders

Jacklyn Toporak and Jessica Sheehan
representing our Western Riders

The English Riding Division had to show first and together with trainer Ashleigh Wedding we started the trip to Syracuse on August 26, 2006

I'm ready, but were are you taking me??????

Setting up the stall and Dressing/Storage room in the 4-H building was our first chore.

OK... we are ready for today!!!

It's Sunday Morning, August 27, 2006

Penny is getting "Dressed-Up"

and Tiffany studies the competition.

Hours went into this....

...and in the end Penny needs to cover it all so it does not come undone....

...in the meantime we explore the Fair a little and have a look at some other Show Contestant.....

....how do we look????

....its not our turn yet, so leave us alone.....

....ups...., time to eat!!!!

...and after a little fighting, everyone found his spot.

In the Coliseum Driving the Mini's was on the program....

Time to go to work again.

Let's warm up Penny....

....Penny wasn't very happy with all the braiding.....

.....or the last minute shaving....

...and especially not with the extra cleaning.....

....something Ashleigh shared with Penny to the fullest extend....

Are you ready to go????

...no problem. I know my pattern!!!!!!!!!!

Out of 28 riders it comes to the last 10...

...a last look from the judge....

...and Tiffany is placed in Third Place

What a great start

You see Penny, I told you we can do this!!!

..Ashleigh's parents came as spectators....

...riding and waiting was the program of the day....
