Ashleigh Wedding

Growing up in Upstate New York, Ashleigh started taking lessons as a child and obtained her own horse at the age of 6.

She rode at Cornell Oxley Equestrian Center and finished as the head riding instructor for their Summer camp program.

Ashleigh's education includes four years at Cazenovia College graduating with an AAS degree in business management/equine science, as well as graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She interned at Arise at the Farm whose primary focus is on therapeutic riding for people with a variety of disabilities.

She spent four years on the Varsity Equestrian Team, riding  and competing, both English and Western. During her tenure at Cazenovia the English Equestrian Team was second in the Nation. Ashleigh also schooled various semesters in Dressage.

Furthermore, Ashleigh worked and trained side by side with Mitzi Summers, a 4th level Centered Riding Instructor. She now trains with Internationally known Lisa O'Neill.

Incorporating her multidisciplinary background she believes that horse and rider need to build a strong foundation. Horse and Rider need to learn and trust each other to reach their maximum potential.

She feels that riding parallels life and the challenges everyone faces. Through these challenges students learn about themselves and as a result riding comes more easily. Riding sessions are positive learning experiences and she instills in her students love and respect for the horse.

Miguel Agredano

Miguel has been around horses his entire life. His love of horses has brought him to training and teaching. From his youth any chance he got to ride has driven him to his successes of today.

Miguel started his professional career in race horse training. His experience includes years of breeding and foaling for Thoroughbred training and breeding farms.

He has worked with horses in all disciplines. He trained under World Champion Bill Dickerson, for years and worked side by side with 4th level Centered Riding instructor Mitzi Summers.

Miguel has found his passion in teaching and training Western Pleasure. He individualizes his methods of teaching to each students abilities. When evaluating and training horses he determines objectives for the horses to match the riders goals. Many of his students, both children and adults, who compete in horse shows are at the top of their class.

When finished with each training session he relaxes the horse so the horse finds riding pleasurable.

Miguel believes that less is more. His training is soft. Riding this school horse from his natural aids he controls the horse's every move, at the walk, jog and lope.

Miguel wants his students to do their best and have fun. He feels a strong sense of accomplishment when his students leave with a smile on their face.
